Is Scroll the Quran free?

Yes. Reading the Quran is always free - the full scroll feed, all 114 surahs, Arabic text, and translations, on the web and in the app. STQ Plus is an optional subscription that unlocks tafsir, recitation, search, saved ayahs, and Discover.

Do I need an account?

No. You can read as a guest. A free account lets you sync your reading position, saved ayahs, and private reflections across devices.

Which translations are included?

Arabic text with eight published translations available offline. English uses Sahih International. You can switch translations from the reader.

Can I use it offline?

The Quran text and translations work offline. Recitation audio and Ibn Kathir tafsir need a connection.

Where does the content come from?

The Arabic text and translations are published editions. Recitation is Mishary Rashid Alafasy; tafsir is the English Ibn Kathir. Full attribution is on the Sources page.

What languages does the app support?

Nine: English, Arabic, French, Spanish, German, Turkish, Indonesian, Urdu, and Russian. Arabic and Urdu include right-to-left layout.
